结论 :IL - 18,sFas及sFasL在SLE发病中有一定意义 ,IL -Objective:To investigate the correlation and change of serum IL-18 and sFas/sFasL in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Methods:Level of IL-18 and sFas/sFasL from 45 patients with SLE and 18 normal control were determined with sandwich ELISA.Results:sFas/sFasL level of patient group with SLE were significantly higher compared with control group ( P <0.01).The level of sFas in active SLE patients were significantly higher than that of the inactive SLE patients ( P <0.01),but there was no significantly difference in sFasL level between active SLE patient and inactive SLE patients ( P >0.05).The level of IL-18 in SLE patient group was significantly higher than that of control group ( P <0.01).The level of IL-18 in active SLE patients were significantly higher than that of the inactive SLE patients ( P <0.01).Furthermore,there was no significant difference between inactive SLE patients and control group ( P >0.05).In addition ,there was significantly positive correlation between level of IL18 and sFas in SLE patient group and active SLE patient group( P <0.01).Conclusions:Level of IL-18 and sFas/sFasL significantly increase in the patients with SLE,which suggest that level IL-18 and sFas/sFasl may serve as an appropriate marker for evaluating SLE disease activity.IL-18 involved to Fas/FasL-mediated apoptosis, at least in part,in immune abnormalities and may possibly be involved in pathogenesis of SLE.
