摘　　要：一、数值模拟与现代工程地质学诸多的工程地质问题概括起来不外乎都是“稳定性”问题,即地质体在各种内、外营力作用下保持其自身稳定性的能力。从力学角度来概括,也就是地质体应力与强度之间的关系,因此,工程地质在诞生和发展过程中无时不在致力于把地质学理论与力学理论结合起来,解决工程实践中的地质问题。当然。In this paper following problems about numerical simulation and imtation are discussed: numerical simulation and modern engineering geoscience;imitation—one of the methodologies of numerical simulation uses in engineering geoscience; imitation of gestress field; imitation of geological process and phenomena; some shortcomings and prospectings of numerical simulation and imitation uses in engineering geoscience.
