摘　　要：《红楼梦》以贾府的兴衰为脉络,小说中有很多描写闺阁女子以情事或婚事相互打趣、戏谑和逗弄的闺阁私语。这些具有玩笑意义的闺阁私语生动再现了大观园女儿日常生活中旖旎动人的画面。《红楼梦》中具有玩笑意义的闺阁私语是一种非规约性间接言语行为,一种与会话含义有关的信息,体现了礼貌的双重性。理解闺阁私语玩笑意义的过程既是对认知语境假设不断进行语用推理的动态过程,也是交际双方寻找最佳关联的过程,其中关联是前提,语境是制约因素,语用推理贯穿其中。A Dream of Red Mansions takes the rise and fall of Jia's family as the context in which there are many de-scriptions of confidential talks of the ladies who say funny things and tease each other about love affairs or marriage. These ladies' confidential talks with banter meaning vividly recreate the charming scene of their daily life in' the Grand View Garden. Their confidential talks with banter meaning in A Dream of Red Mansions is both a kind of non-conventional indirect speech act and a kind of information related to the meaning of the conversation, which embodies the duality of politeness. The process of understanding the banter meaning of the ladies' confidential talks is not only a dynamic process of pragmatic reasoning to the cognitive contextual hypothesis, but also a process of finding optimum relevarice between the partners in the communication, among which the relevance is the premise, the context is the constraint factor, and the pragmatic reasoning runs through it.
