摘 要:液态金属磁收缩机理是研究限流器起弧机制及动作特性的关键问题,文中通过实验研究首次发现并获得了限流器中液态金属的磁收缩特征规律。为了研究镓铟锡液态金属磁收缩行为特性,设计了带有透明观察窗的单隔板实验装置,采用LC振荡回路模拟短路电流,进行了电弧行为及其演变特性的实验研究。结果表明:液态金属的收缩过程起始于通孔内液态金属与孔壁的直接脱离,并最终在通孔两端首先发生液态金属柱截断起弧。此外,文中建立了考虑液态金属与孔壁接触特性及孔壁表面形貌特征影响的三维磁收缩仿真模型,揭示了通孔内液态金属的磁收缩机理。The magnetic pinch mechanism is a key issue to study the arc ignition mechanims and its response properties of a liquid metal current limiter.The pinch regularities and charactertics of liquid meta(lLM)in the current limiter are obtained for the first time in this paper.An experimental device with transparent viewing window and a single spacer is designed for the study of the LM’s magnetic pinch behaviors.The short circuit current is supplied by a LC oscillating test circuit.The experimental study on arc behavior and its evolution characteristics is conducted.It indicates that the whole process begins with the direct separation of LM from the channel wall and it finally pinches to ignite the arc at both ends of the channel.Moreover,a 3-D numerical model is built allowing for the effects of the LM-channel contact characters and the channel wall’s surface topography,which help to reveal the LM’s pinch mechanism.
