Three Lucky Encounters in the Collation of Ancient Books

摘　　要：本文叙述校点《船山全书》之《张子正蒙注》时,在两抄本、六印本中认定王船山十二代孙家藏抄本为船山手抄之原著祖本,遂以之为底本整理;在主编《魏源全集》的搜寻遗佚中,发现复旦大学馆藏《诗古微》道光刻本内夹藏魏源手书于咸丰五年之识语纸笺及其友人龚橙批注;在修订《船山全书》之《楚辞通释》时,发现湖南省社科院所藏康熙四十八年湘西草堂刻本之完好无缺,遂以之修订并揭示该本之优长特色。This paper describes the three lucky encounters of the author when devoting to the collation of ancient books. First,while punctuating and revising Zhangzi Zheng Meng Zhu( a commentary of Zhang Zai’s Zheng Meng),a book in the series-Complete Works of Chuanshan,the author identified from two handwritten copies and six printed copies that the transcript preserved by the 12 thgeneration descendant of Wang Chuanshan was the original version of the handwritten copy of Chuanshan,and thus used this version as the master copy for collation. Second,while searching for the books missing from the Complete Works of Wei Yuan,the author discovered the paper notes of Shi Yu handwritten by Wei Yuan in the fifth year of Emperor Xianfeng’s reign( 1855)and the notes given by Gong Cheng,a friend of Wei Yuan,which were stored in the Daoguang edition of Shi Gu Wei( a study on the Book of Songs) collected at the Library of Fudan University.Third,while revising Chu Ci Tong Shi( a commentary of the Songs of Chu),a book in the Complete Works of Chuanshan,the author discovered that the edition of West Hunan Thatched Cottage which was finished in the 48 thyear of Emperor Kangxi’s reign( 1709) and collected at the Hunan Academy of Social Sciences was intact. Therefore,the author made revisions to this edition and highlighted that this edition had the feature of boasting many advantages over other editions.
