摘　　要：布龙菲尔德的《语言论》犹如一部语言学百科全书,对现代语言学的发展具有重要作用。学界对其评价可谓林林总总,但布氏在零句方面的精辟论述和重要观点却较少受到中国学界关注。文中介绍了《语言论》中的零句观,对《语言论》的句子类型观、零句的类型及特点进行研究,并就其对赵元任等语言学家的影响以及中国零句研究的起源及发展进行了深入讨论,进一步明了这位语言学巨擘及其《语言论》对中国现代语言学发展的深远影响。Bloomfield’s Language is like a linguistic encyclopedia and plays a key role in the development of modern linguistics. Despite of the numerous academic evaluations on this book,the essential view on minor sentence is scarce in China. After introducing the concept and types of minor sentence in Language,this paper discusses its influence on Chao Yuen Ren and other Chinese linguists. It is hoped that a detailed discussion of Bloomfield’s view on "minor sentence"will help readers understand the profound influence of Bloomfield in general and the book in question in particular on the development of Chinese modern linguistics.
