西双版纳斗鸡生理特征与开发利用探究

摘　　要：西双版纳斗鸡抗病力强、耐粗饲、肌肉营养价值高。为了探究西双版纳斗鸡的生理特征,促进其开发利用,我们选择了29只健康、成年西双版纳斗鸡作为研究对象,其中公鸡19只、母鸡10只,测定其主要的体尺、体重和生理指标。结果显示:西双版纳斗鸡公鸡的体尺、体重均极显著大于母鸡(P<0.01);西双版纳斗鸡公鸡的白细胞数显著大于母鸡(P<0.05),其他各项生理指标无显著差异(P>0.05)。此研究从其生理特征方面说明了西双版纳斗鸡是一个优良的品种,在改良地方鸡种和培育鸡的新品种方面有着其他鸡种不可替代的作用,可考虑将其由玩赏型动物转化为肉用经济动物。Xishuangbanna gamecocks have the characteristics of good disease-resistance,roughage-resistance,and highly nutritious muscles.In order to explore the physiological characteristics of the gamecocks and promote development and utilization of gamecock raising,29 healthy adult Xishuangbanna gamecocks(19♂ and 10♀) were selected in the research.By measuring and analyzing their principal body traits and physical indicators,we found that the cocks were of very significantly bigger bodies than the hens(P<0.01).The WBC of the cocks was significantly higher than that of the hens(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences between the cocks and hens in other physical indicators(P>0.05).This study indicated that Xishuangbanna gamecocks are a good breed that has an irreplaceable role in improving local chicken breeds and in breeding new chicken breeds.We may utilize the gamecocks for economic benefit besides their current role of pets.
