摘　　要：1984年5月,烟台被确定为全国首批14个沿海开放城市之一,一举站在了对外开放的最前沿。自此,在党的领导下,烟台始终将市情与国情、世情紧密结合,走出一条既符合经济发展规律,又富有烟台特色的开放之路:在全国先行探索建立经济技术开发区,昔日荒滩如今变身现代化文明靓丽滨海新区;国内率先与APEC“握手”,亚太经合组织在中国举办的首次实际性经贸活动落户烟台i保税港区、高新技术产业开发区等一系列先行先试的重大部署,构建起区域发展新格局,开放的烟台不断融入世界大舞台。In May 1984,Yantai was designated as one of the first 14coastal open cities in China,standing at the forefront of the reform and opening up at one go.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China ever since,Yantai has closely integrated the situations of the city with the nation and the world and embarked on a path of opening up in accordance with the law of economic development with the characteristics of Yantai:it was the first in China to explore the establishment of an economic and technological development area,turning the old bleak beach into a new beautiful coastal district featuring modernization and civilization;it was the first in China to "shake hands with"APEC,making Yantai the first place to hold its first real trade and business activity in China;the major deployment of a series of piloting projects such as the Bonded Port Area and the High-Tech Industrial Development Zone constructed a new structure of regional development,continuously integrating open Yantai into the world stage.
