摘 要:近几年,影视作品的IP化是一个突出现象,但并不是所有的改编影视作品都叫IP电影或IP剧,"改编"多是针对文本本身而言,而"IP"则更多地强调作品基于市场的交换价值。近几年的IP电影有一个显著特征就是"反复生产",西游题材电影就是个典型的例子。通过分析西游题材IP电影独特的生产性要素以及生产链条可见,不断地IP化、衍生IP化是一个"他者化"的过程,而能够源源不断地通过"他者化"来进行"变现"是西游题材在今天最大的交换价值。它在以不断被生产的方式被不断消解,加之在消费具有高度生产性的体系中,唯收益论日渐具有支配性,各个环节巨大的变现压力使得精雕细琢的生产方式变得越来越不可能,这在一定程度上既是西游题材IP价值稀释的生产性根源,也是今天整个电影市场"烂片当道"的生产性根源。Recent years have witnessed the salient rise of IP in Chinese film industry,and not all the film adaptations are called IP films. "Adaptation"usually focuses on the text itself,while"IP"emphasizes the exchange value of the works based on the market. Recent years Chinese IP films are characterized by repeated productions,and various adaptations/sequels/prequels/remakes of Journey to the West( hereafter JTW) are a case in point. The paper studies the production processes of IP films related to JTW,including their various elements and their relationships. The author argues that the process continuously turns cultural materials into IPs and derivative IPs is a process of othering. Only through incessant monetizing via othering can JTW maximize its exchange value. It is incessant to deconstruct through incessant productions,profit’s increasing prevalence. The pressure to monetize from various parts makes it increasingly difficult to produce and craft in sophisticated manners. These problems in productions account for the dilution of JTW’s IP to some extent and they also lead to the prevalence of poor-quality films in current film industry.
