摘　　要：文章记录了华东电力大楼改造的全过程,从逐步实现保留原建筑特征和延续城市记忆,到为契合新功能逐步达成的更新和突破。不同于新建建筑,城市更新项目的关键在于对保留与更新之间的平衡的拿捏和度的把握,并在诸多边界和限制条件下达成原建筑的活力和新生。This paper documents the entire renovation process of the East China Electric Power Building,from the gradual realization of preserving the original building features and retaining the city memory,to the renewal and breakthrough that are achieved in steps for the new functions.Unlike new constructions,the key to the urban renewal projects is to measure and grasp the balance between preservation and regeneration,and the vitality and new life of the original buildings are achieved under various boundaries and restrictions.
