摘　　要：华东电力大楼是上海南京路上第一栋超过100 m的高层建筑。从1988年建成至今的30年中,不断受到建筑学专业内外的褒贬纷争,2013年的改造方案更是引发了大范围的争论。不难发现这些争论的核心在于建筑的"形式"问题。文章研究的对象是华东电力大楼的设计与改造方案、对其进行批评的期刊文章与媒体报道以及它们所处的时代语境,通过对客观史料的分析与争论文本的解读这两条线索来阐释华东电力大楼30年争议所反映的"形式"问题及意义,旨在通过对华东电力大楼个案的"形式"问题的研究,观照自20世纪80年代起的30年中在不同具体语境下建筑学界对"形式"问题及其所反映出的时代文化诉求的变迁。East China Electric Power Building, is the first high rise building over 100 meters on Nanjing.Road, Shanghai. Over the time period of nearly 30 years after the completion of the project in 1988 this building is constantly being discussed inside and outside the architectural academic circle. There is an even more heated discussion after its renovation plan released in 2013. It is obvious that the "form" is the core of all the debates The objective of this paper is to review the design and renovation plans of East China Electric Power Building, also its criticism and the relevant contexts. Through the analysis of these historical materiais and the interpretation of the arguments, the paper intends to reveal the profound connotations behind these controversies. Based on the case of East China Electric Power Building,the research also discusses the "architectural forms" under different contexts since the 1980 s and the cultural appeals they have reflected in the corresponding thirty years.
