美国图书馆提供健康信息服务的实践与启示

摘　　要：随着生活水平的提高,用户健康信息需求日益旺盛,图书馆应该开展健康信息服务,以促进公众健康素养提高,赢得社会的美誉度和推动图书馆转型。文章研究了美国图书馆健康信息服务的实践情况,包括美国国立医学图书馆和图书馆行业组织在健康信息服务中所起的作用,分析了美国图书馆向公众提供健康信息服务的形式和内容,包括健康信息资源建设、健康信息导航、健康信息咨询、课程培训、参与式活动、其他创新方式和新技术的运用,并据此提出对我国图书馆提供健康信息服务的启示。With the improvement of the living standard,the users'demand for health information is increasing.The library should carry out health information services to promote the improvement of public health literacy,to win the reputation of the society and promote the transformation of the library.This paper studies the practice of health information service in the libraries of the United States,including the role of the National Medical Library and the organization of the libraries in the health information service,and analyzes the forms and contents of the health information service provided by the American libraries to the public,including the construction of health information resources,the navigation of health information,and the consulting of health information,and the training of health information,participatory activities,and the application of other innovative methods and new technologies.And finally their inspiration to our libraries is discussed.
