论西方左翼戏剧的政治性与观众参与性  

On the Political Factors and Audience Participation of Western Left-wing Drama

摘　　要：西方左翼戏剧在内容上表现为强烈的政治性,在舞台演出形式上表现为观众的高度参与性。但是,以上两点实际并非左翼戏剧的创新,而是西方戏剧的共同特征。左翼戏剧无论是在理论构建上,还是在内容与舞台表演上,没有突破西方戏剧的传统。因此,政治性与观众的参与性不能作为左翼戏剧的评价依据。对其优劣的评判,可借助新批评戏剧对语言技巧的强调,挖掘左翼戏剧中的反讽、悖论、含混、张力、象征与隐喻等元素。Western left-wing dramas are strongly political in content and the audience is highly engaged in its stage performance.However,these two points are not actually innovations of left-wing dramas,but common features of western dramas.The left wing drama did not break through the tradition of western drama either in theory construction or in content and stage performance.Therefore,political factors and audience participation cannot be used as the evaluation basis of left-wing dramas.To judge its merits and demerits,we can use the method of new criticism to emphasize literary language skills,to explore the elements of irony,paradox,ambiguity,tension,symbolism and metaphor in left-wing drama.
