iQPR technology is a new and advanced technology to treat sewage. This technology can successfully reduce various pollution indicators in sewage and even in the contaminated groundwater.. However, it is necessary to further study the potential biological safety problems of iQPR technology in the treatment of sewage and even contaminated groundwater. Therefore, in order to assess the effects of iQPR on biosafety, firstly this paper analyzed water-quality constituents of three different kinds of water treated by iQPR;Secondly, the effects of iQPR water on the individual level, tissue level and pathological morphology damage of SD mice were studied systematically. The results showed that the water quality components of iQPR treatment were better than the ordinary drinking water in the control group, and no abnormalities at the individual tissue level. Although a group of iQPR treatment water caused the SD rat splenic corpuscle increased, that may be related to microbial bacterial infections drinking water. Therefore it could be initially identified that this technology does not cause individual lesions of SD rats. This study would provide a theoretical basis for revealing the safety of iQPR treatment water to organisms.
