摘　　要：从功能语言学视角,以医学类学术论文摘要为例,通过主位结构和衔接系统分析了语篇翻译教学的过程,探讨了主位和述位、照应、省略、连接等语言结构在英译过程中的翻译方法,检验了基于语篇的大学英语翻译教学的可行性,挖掘了功能途径的语篇翻译教学的效用,以期为中医院校翻译教学实践提供新思路。In the light of functional linguistics, this paper analyzes the text-oriented translation teaching process of the abstracts for academic articles on medical science from two aspects including the thematic structure and cohesive system. It discusses the translation methods of language structures such as theme and rheme,reference, ellipsis and conjunction. It testifies the feasibility of text-based college English translation teaching and explores the efficacy of functional approach to text-oriented translation teaching. This study is supposed to provide new perspective for translation teaching practice in other TCM universities.
