摘　　要：坚持文化自信,必须坚持弘扬中华民族伟大精神。中华民族伟大精神是中华文明生生不息、持久发展的灵魂和支柱。公安英雄模范精神已经成为中华民族精神族谱的重要组成部分。习近平总书记在"5.19"重要讲话中指出,公安英雄模范身上体现的忠诚信念、担当精神、英雄气概是中华民族伟大精神的真实写照。在新时代警察文化建设中,要把继承和弘扬中华民族伟大精神与深入挖掘公安英雄模范精神的丰富内涵和时代价值结合起来,在全社会宣传学习公安英雄模范精神,塑造和维护公安民警的良好形象。Being confident of our cultures requires the spread of the Great Spirit of the Chinese Nation. It is the soul and pillar of the continuation and development of the Chinese civilization. The spirit of public security heroes has become an essential part of our spiritual genealogy.As President Xi pointed out in his important speech of May 19 th, the loyalty, responsibility, and heroism embodied in the heroes of public security are the genuineportrayal of the great spirit of the Chinese Nation.In the new era of constructing police cultures, it is necessary to combine the rich connotation of inheriting and carrying forward the great spirit of the Chinese Nation and tapping into the spirit of public security heroes with the value of thetimes.It is important to praise the spirit of public security heroes in the whole society, construct and maintain the positive images of the police.
