摘　　要：今年是改革开放的第四十个年头,也是香港回归祖国的第二十一年。改革开放与香港回归是上世纪发生在中国的两件大事,二者间有着密不可分的联系。改革开放与香港回归都是中国一个特定的时代中,为了实现国家的现代化而诞生的产物。This year is the fortieth anniversary of reform and opening up and the twenty-first anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. The reform and opening up and the return of Hong Kong are two major events in China in the last century and they are inextricably linked.Both events took place in a special era in China and they were the achievements we made to modernize the country.The underlying trend of titis particular era remains and we are required to keep abreast with it through theoretical study.
