摘　　要：The role of standards in the development of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was highlighted in a panel as part of International Symposium on Standardization Strategies and China Standardization Expert Committee Academic Seminar that took place on November 28, 2018 in Beijing. Over 70 stakeholders from government, standardization organizations, research institutes, academia and various industry sectors participated in the panel.
