摘　　要：本文运用计量模型考察了影响中国引入外商直接投资 (FDI)与经济增长之间相关关系的诸种因素。我们发现 ,无论在全国还是各省区分组的层次上 ,东道主的经济技术水平和政策因素均强烈地影响 FDI与经济增长之间的关系。在经济发达地区 ,FDI对于经济增长的影响更强烈 ;企业间的竞争最为激烈时 ,FDI对于经济增长的作用能够得到最大程度的实现。分析结果还显示 ,地方政府应该且有能力采取措施最大程度地发挥 FDI对经济增长的作用。市场化改革作为一种“一般性”的政策优化了经济增长的环境 ;FDI作为这种政策的一种体现 ,在发达地区对经济增长发挥了重要作用。This paper investigates the factors that influence the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) and economic growth in China. The results reveal that the FDI-growth relationship is strongly influenced by both economic and technological conditions and government policies at both national and provincial levels. FDI favours growth in the economically more developed provinces, and the full benefits of FDI are realised when competition between foreign and locally owned sectors in local markets is strong. Market reform improves the environment for economic growth, and FDI, as an embodiment of marketisation, proves to be more important for growth in the more developed provinces.
