摘 要:目前网络存储的核心技术是围绕SCSI、FC、IP以太网及它们的交叉融合发展;将存储和网络结合起来的主要方案有两种结构,即NAS和SAN,它们均已经进入实用阶段。NAS易于使用、配置灵活、成本低,但性能较差;SAN具有很高的性能,但目前存在着兼容性的问题,成本也很高。在存储走向网络化的过程中,也必须要考虑到目前以太网应用的规模、成熟度和相对较低的成本这些因素。如果着重考虑总体长期投资费用,iSCSI将是最好的选择,随着技术的日趋成熟,相信它将为企业数据存储提供最优秀的性能和价格比。At present,the core technologies of net-work storage surrounds SCSI,FC,IP Ethernet and their convergence develop ment.There are2main solutions for the combination of storage and net-work,i.e.NAS and SAN,both of which have been put into utility.NAS is easy to use,with flexible configuration and low cost.But its perfor-mance is not high.SAN has excellent performance.But,at present it has prob lems in compatibility.Its cost is very high.During the period when stor-age de velops towards networking,the factors of the scale,maturity and comparatively low cost of Eth-ernet must be taken into con sideration.If the over-all long-term invest is taken as the main concern,iSCSI will be the best choice.With the graduate ma turity of the technology,it is believed that this technology can provide the most ex cellent perfor-mance and cost -effectiveness for enterprise data storage.
