摘　　要：研究探索了WebGIS发展新方向 ,应用ArcViewIMS(InternetMapServer) ,以及Internet的WorldWideWeb(WWW)服务模式 ,建立了广东省土壤资源信息系统空间信息的WebGIS服务 .远程客户端使用普通的WWW浏览器 ,即可实现土壤资源空间信息远程查询访问 。Based on ArcView Internet Map Server (IMS) and World Wide Web(WWW), the WebGIS server in Soil Information System of Guangdong province was established in the paper. Long-distance clients with common WWW browser only could visit and query easily the soil spacial information of the province. It would be helpful to serve the agriculture production more widely for the soil spacial information.
