摘　　要：十年前邓小平巡视南方时发表的重要谈话 ,概括了中国革命和建设中重要的历史经验 ,也是其本人在长期革命生涯中同错误思想路线斗争所得出的经验性总结。今天重温这个重要谈话仍具有重大意义 ,这就是 :中国要警惕右 ,但主要是防止“左”。在新的复杂多变的新世纪里 。Ten years ago Deng Xiaoping, on his trip to the south of China, delivered a significant speech, which summarizes the important historical experiences of the Chinese revolution and construction and also his personal experience of fighting against misleading ideological policies in his life-long revolutionary career. Today, reviewing the speech is still instructive especially in that China should mainly guard against 'the Left' while being alert for 'the Right'. In the new century full of complexity and changes, this idea will never be over-stressed.
