摘　　要：遥感信息具有显著的社会目的 ,但由于多方面的原因 ,迄今并未成为社会科学研究的重要数据来源。本文重点讨论遥感科学在人口科学研究方面的意义和已经开展的工作以及取得的成果 ,指出人口与像素的结合具有广阔的前景 ,通过不断的努力 。Despite its significantly social purposes, remote sensing data has not become an important source from social scientific studies. This paper discusses the importance of remote science for population studies,and provides a brief introduction to some of the practices and achievements in this field. Making the connection between the population and pixels, there will be a bright future for the studies in socializing the pixels and pixelizing the societies.
