摘　　要：铁路环境保护信息管理系统在1997年研发的基础上,于1999年开始铁路环境保护数据库广域网络的研究与开发工作。根据铁路行业环境保护工作的特点和铁路环境保护数据库的实际应用,采用了Internet/Intranet网络技术和TCP/IP通信协议构建覆盖全路的铁路环境保护信息广域网络,充分利用Web技术和设备来构造或改建可提供Web信息服务、数据库连接服务等应用的、自成独立体系的铁路环境保护信息广域网络系统。Based on the management system of the environment protection information(DOS version)developed in 1997,study and development of the wide area network system (WAN) of the railway environment protections data base(network version) was started in 1999. According to characteristics of the railway environment protection and application of the railway environment protections data base.the prevalent International Internet/Intranet network technique and TCP/IP protocol to build WAN system of the railway environment protections information has been adopted to cover all railway administrations of Chinese railways. It makes full use of the Web technique and installation to construct or upgrade the applicable and stand-alone WAN system of the railway environment protections information, which can be used to supply Web information service and data base connecting service,etc.
