摘　　要：随着在近几年来人们利用Web作为交流与信息交换的重要方式的快速增长,图形、图像的重要性越来越突出。可以毫不夸张地说Web能够被越来越多的人所接受在很大程度上是由于Web上图形的出现。SVG是最近几年来在Web上很流行的矢量图形格式,它是一种基于XML的二维矢量图形,正在被越来越多的用户和业界所使用。文章将就其特点、在Web上使用的优势、以及用于地图发布使用的技术和应用前景做一全面的介绍。With the rapid growth of the use of the Web in the last few years as a means of communication and information exchange,Graphics and image play more and more important role on it.To a large extends,the flourishing of Web is contribute to the raster and vector graphics embedded in web page.Scalable Vector Graphics(SVG)is the emerging standard for the display of two-dimensional vector graphics on the Web.This paper introduces the feature of SVG,advantages of SVG,and it's application technology on Web.
