摘　　要：在叙述了数字逻辑电路或系统的结构描述和行为描述方法及其综合过程的基础上 ,以一个具有显示功能的 4bit累加器为例 ,分别对多种用来进行功能和行为描述的手段作了对比。并通过VHDL语言对 4bit累加器的行为和结构进行描述 ,说明它的优越之处 ,体现了VHDL语言编程灵活。On the basis of e xposition of structure description and b ehavior description to a digital logic c ircuit or system and the integration pro cedure, with a 4-bit totalizer with disp lay function as an example several measu res for function description and behavio r description have been compared. By usi ng VHDL language the behavior and struct ure of the 4-bit totalizer are described and the advantages of VHDL language, i. e., fiexibie programming and easy to upg rade are shown.
