摘　　要：本文阐述了畜牧业在西部大开发中对长江上游草地生态屏障的建立、农村产业结构调整、拓展畜产品国际市场和增加农民收入的重要地位和作用,以及在农业进入新阶段后畜牧业不可阻挡的发展趋势。This passage expounds animal husbandry of the import ant status and function about reinforcing the zoology enviroment on the Chang jiang's river's primary during west great development,adjusting product's st rueture of country developing the international market of animal's product and enhancing the peasants income;and animal husbandry's rapid development don't prevent in the new periold about agriculture.
