摘 要:采用激光诱发和控制反应的方法,成功合成了Ni-Al系金属间化合物并实现了在钢基体上熔覆。所需的激光功率密度为10~3W/cm^2量级。金属间化合物涂层的厚度可达1mm量级。Structural intermetallic alloy is one of the most promising materials to replace traditional super alloys. Melting under vacuum or protective conditions and mechanical alloying are the main two methods of getting intermetallics, and their products are made mainly by casting or powder metallurgy. So far, no other methods are introduced to produce the intermetallic alloy and its product except the two step methods mentioned above. Combining the knowledge of laser cladding with the ideas of rapid prototyping, a new method of materials processing--laser controlled reactive synthesis and shape forming - was introduced. Being the base of three- dimentional prototyping, experiments on intermetallic coating by laser controlled reactive synthesis were canned out in this research. The mixture of Ni powder and Al powder was chosen as the reactive agents and 45# steel as the matrix. The coating was obtained under a CO2 laser radiation. It was concluded that the intermetallic coating with expected width and thickness were gained under the control of the laser with . the power density at the magnitude of 103W/cm- , and the thickness of the coating has the magnitude of millimeter. The element distribution and microstructure of the coating were very uniform. The product is a complex intermetallic of Fe, Ni, Al.
