摘　　要：The Bi 2O 3 was prepared from Bi(NO 3) 3·5H 2O, followed by calcination of its alkali salt. The Bi 2O 3 was used as photocatalyst in photocatalytic decoloration of dyes. The results showed that the Bi 2O 3 exhibited a better photocatalytic activity under illumination of sunlight than that illuminated by Hg lamp.The Bi 2O 3 was prepared from Bi(NO 3) 3·5H 2O, followed by calcination of its alkali salt.
