摘　　要：根据面向Internet的信息检索系统的特点 ,文中阐述了一个基于Agent的面向Internet的信息检索系统(AIRS)的设计和实现 ,着重介绍了该系统的系统模型及各组成部分的设计思想。与目前流行的搜索引擎相比 ,本系统不仅具有良好的用户界面和多样的检索方式 ,而且提高了检索的精度、覆盖面和响应速度。According to the characteristics of information retrieval systems for Internet applicatons,this paper introduces the design and implementation of an Agent based information retrieval systems for Internet applications (AIRS).Especially,we discuss the AIRS's system model and designs of its component.Compared with current popular search engines,this system has better user interfaces,provides more retrieval methods,is more accurate in retrieval,has wider coverage and faster response in retrieval.
