摘　　要：Easy calculation can be carried out on central stake coordinate at each point on a gentle transition curve by means of establishing a symmetrical coordinate system and appropriatecoordinate transition. The method described in the paper is simple and practicable. Less input information are needed in programming and It is very easy to make a program in pocket computer or programmable calculator. It is not only suitable for curves with large radius but also overcomes the disadvantages found in original calculation method (He Pingzong).Easy calculation can be carried out on central stake coordinate at each point on a gentle transition curve by means of establishing a symmetrical coordinate system and appropriatecoordinate transition.
