摘　　要：通信制造业的草原上有三种动物: 狮子——跨国公司; 豹子——跨国公司在中国的合资企业; 土狼——地道的中国本土企业。 在狮子眼中,土狼是什么?就是以100对1的兵力蚕食狮子的边缘战场,直至腹心;就是以狮子难以理解的目的疯狂发动价格战,使狮子的利润直线下降;就是以对中国本上市场无与伦比的适应性和理解能力,运用各种“不规范竞争手段”,在复杂的利益关系中灵活穿梭,使狮子的技术忧势变得苍白无力。 土狼对成功的强烈渴望、面对挫折屡败屡战的可怕执着和忍耐、对多变环境的适应和求生能力以及不惜代价集体作战的方式。Ren Zhengfei,the founder of Huawei of Huawei Technologies,often likens Huawei to a horde of wolves.But in theinnermost part of his heart,he wishes Huawei to be alion,the king of forest.In chinese telecommunicationfield,foreign equipment vendors are both technologicallyand financially powerful lions,which are Huawei's di-rect competitors.Now,Huawei has become a horde ofwolves the threat of which can be sharply felt by thelions.The leader of Huawei,Mr.Ren,Really makes amiracle:winning the large market shares by selling third-class technological products.Huawei is a business miracle,the success of whichcan hardly be duplicated now,even by Mr.Ren himself.Further,both Huawei and Mr.Ren still keep a mystery.People are curious about Mr.Ren and analysts are doubt-ful of Huawei's performances because Mr. Ren is famousfor his untraditional way of doing business.Mr.Ren invited McKinsey & Company to help estab-lish a new framework to support Huawei's future ex-pansion.It is seen by experts as an indicator that Mr.Renwill transform Huawei into a more transparent companyHowever, Mr.Ren still gives orders as fie did before.Peoplesay, Mr.Ren did not allow McKinsey to touch Huawei'score departments, let alone to change them.But it is safe to say that Mr. Ren is at least thinkingot transforming Huawei from a horde of wolves into alion king.
