207 Cases of Surgical Therapy of Nonvascular Diseases of The Chest in Aged

摘　　要：作者于1978年1月至1988年12月对207例60岁以上老年病人进行了开胸手术。其中男性164例,女性43例,年龄60～80岁。179例为恶性肿瘤,6例为良性肿瘤,胸部结核及包虫病17例,居第二位。97例(46.9％)伴有其他全身疾病,其中大多数为心血管疾病(50.5％)和呼吸系统疾病(43.3％)。术后发生各种并发症17例(8.2％),死亡9例(死亡率为4.3％)。作者对老年人胸部疾病的特点,正确选择手术指征,认真做好术前准备及术中处理,加强术后护理,并发症的预防等作了讨论。Chest operations had been performed in 207 cases from 1978 to 1988. There were 164 males and 43 females. The ages were between 60～80 years. Malignant tumors were found in 179 cases and benigh tumors in 6 patients. Other 17 cases were thoracic tuberculosis and hydatid diseases. 97 (46.9%) cases were associated with other diseases, 50.5% of which were cardiovascular in nature. Postoperative complications occurred in 17 cases (8.2%),9 of which resulted in death (fatality 4.3%). The main object of this paper is to discuss the characteristics of the thoracic diseases in the aged, indications of (operation and careful preoperative preparation and good postoperative managemeat, especially the prophylaxis of postoperative complications.
