现代文明的贵族性与自我封闭的情感模式——论沈从文的都市小说

摘　　要：现代文明进程的结构特征——“贵族性”始终使人陷于“自我封闭”的情感之中。同时这一文明的“贵族性”又使文明的成果始终集中在特定社会及特定阶层中。将文明一词从人的行为所表现出的价值来看,现代文明的“贵族性”与沈从文所揭示的都市文明特性非常接近。沈从文从人性的观点出发,揭露了在现代文明的“贵族性”之下形成的特征社会阶层的“虚伪人性”特性。沈从文的都市观也许不能完全代表京派作家对都市的体察,但他对现代文明的体察却是最有深度的。The structural characteristics of the process of process of modem civilization……'lordiness'al-ways plunge people into 'self-occlusion'. Moreover, the feature of 'lordliness' makes the achievement of civilization focus on given society and class. Form the value of the word 'civilization' brought about by human behavior, 'lordliness' of moderm civilization is very close to the characteristics of urban civilization which Shen Congwen reveals in tis novels. He exposes the hypocrisy of given social class under the cover of olrdliness in urban civilization from the angel of human nature. His perspective of the city perhaps can't, completely represent that held by other beijing writers, but he certainly has the deepest insight into urban civilization.
