广东省原鸡种群数量、分布及栖息地现状的初步调查

摘　　要：广东原鸡栖息地分布在徐闻、雷州、信宜、高州、阳春 5个县 (市 ) ,为孤立的三块 ,呈岛屿状分布 ,总面积 2 5 0 1 62km2 ,总体数量 680～ 75 0只。原鸡数量最多、面积最大的一块栖息地是由信宜、高州、阳春 3块小栖息地组合而成 。The distribution of the Red Jungle Fowl (Gallus gallus) in Guangdong Province is in the northern tropical zone, where is Leizhou Peninsula of Zhanjiang, and in the southern subtropical zone of Maoming and Yangjiang, not extend to the boundary of Yunfu and Jiangmen. The geographical position is 109°52′40″E—110°54′11″E, 20°32′12″N—22°33′33″N. The habitats of the Red Jungle Fowl were in three fragmented areas, where located in the boundaries of Xuwen, Leizhou, Xinyi, Gaozhou and Yangjiang five counties. The population of the Red Jungle Fowl in Guangdong was estimated at 680—750 individuals and the three habitat patches in Xinyi, Leizhou and Yangchun are the most important habitats.
