论高校图书馆在西部大开发战略中的作用

摘　　要：西部大开发关健在于人才资源的开发和高科技的运用 ,二者均离不开文献信息的储备和利用 ,而高校图书馆文献资料的储备和质量居社会首位。本文从四个方面论述了高校图书馆在西部大开发战略中的作用。认为西部大开发系列工程能否顺利运作 ,离不开人才资源及对高科技的掌握运用。作为科学技术载体的文献是一种生产力 ,而高校图书馆是文献信息服务中心和培养高素质人才基地 。The key point of the strategy to develop the west of China lies in the development of human resource and the application of the advanced science and technology. Both of them need the storage and application of documents. The storage and quality of the written resources in university libraries is always put in the first place in our society. This paper discusses the function of the university library in west development in four parts. It holds whether the development of the west of China can operate well or not depends on human resource and on the application of advanced science and technology. As the science and technology carrier, documents are one form of productive force and university libraries are the information service center. It is also the base to train the high-quality talents. So university libraries should play a very important role in the development of the west of China.
