张北地震区的断裂构造特征

摘　　要：1 998年 1月 1 0日张北 6.2级地震发生在张家口坝上地区 ,震区被中、上新世溢流玄武岩覆盖 ,第四系地层 0～ 3m。电磁波遥感探测结果表明 ,张北震区存在 NEE、NWW和 NE向三组断裂。野外调查证实 NWW向的小水泉——满井断裂 ,尚义县套里庄乡东水泉南北向断裂和赤城——尚义大断裂的东西向次级断裂都明显错断中、上新世玄武岩及其夹层。热释光(TL)年龄测定结果表明 ,这三条断裂的最新活动时代分别为 1 6.7万年 ,2 0 .3万年和 1 4 .3万年。张北地震发生在 NEE、NE和 NWW向三组断裂的交汇区附近 ,NWW向的小水泉——满井断裂是发震断裂。Zhangbei M6.2 earthquake occurred in the area of northern Zhangjiakou dam in January 10,1998.The epicenter is covered by effusive basalts of Miocene and Pliocene and the stratum of Quaternary(0～3m).The detection of electromagnetic wave remote sensing shows three group faults in NE,NNE and NW direc tion respectively exist in the area.The field geological survey testifies that the NWW Xiaoshuiquan-Manjing fault,the NS Dongshuiquan fault and the subfault of EW Chicheng-Shangyi fault all broke these stratums evidently.Thermoluminescent dating shows the lates active ages of the faults are respectively 0.167 Ma,0.203Ma and 0.143Ma.The earthquake occur in the vicinity of the intersection of the three group faults.The NWW Xiaoshuiquan Manjing fault is the seismogenic fault.
