我国近代大学实施扩充教育的经验与启示

摘　　要：大学实施扩充教育是我国近代高等教育发展中一个十分重要的教育现象。其含义是指通过大学来组织、办理各种社会教育事业 ,或利用大学的人力、物力、设施、机构、活动等 ,将大学的教育事业推向社会。近代大学通过实施扩充教育 ,扩大了教育的对象 ,丰富了大学的施教领域 ,对于“民智”的提高、社会的改良、教育机会的均等 ,以及指导家庭教育和弥补学校教育的不足起到了重要作用 ,同时也促进了大学教育的发展。Universities offering extensive education has been a very important educational phenomenon in the development of China's higher education during the recent years. It means that by way of universities the government organizes and administers all kinds of social educational work, or uses the personnel, material resources, facilities, organizations, and activities of universities to push their educatinal work to the society. By administering extensive education, universities in modern times have extended the number of receivers of education and enriched the instruction contents of universities. This kind of work has been playing an important role in raising the intelligence of the people, improving the atmosphere of societies, equalizing the opportunity of receiving education, directing home education, and making up for the deficiencies of school education. Meanwhile, it has also promoted the development of university education.
