摘　　要：深圳2005年率先基本实现现代化是“十五”期间的奋斗目标和历史任务,本文根据深圳市的“十五”规划,用40个指标构成衡量现代化指标体系,并根据深圳的历史统计资料,用统计预测和分析的方法对深圳目前现代化程度、2005年能否达到预期的目标,进行了研究。It is Shenzhen′s historical mission to become a leading city of modernization in 2005. On the basis of 'Shenzhen′s Five-Year Plan', this paper uses 40 indices to evaluate modernization. With reference to Shenzhen′s past statistics, it employs the method of statistical forecast and analysis to make a study of its present modernization process in an attempt to forecast whether the city will achieve its target in 2005.
