摘　　要：本文从学科生存、建设与发展的需要出发论证了对图书馆学研究对象应该达成共识，探讨了各家观点统一的基础，论证了把图书馆学的研究对象定义为“图书馆”的科学性。From the angle of the requirement of a subject’s preservation and development, this article discusses that some common view should be achieved about the object of the library science, and it also analyzes the foundation of this common view, showing the scientificalness of the definition of the object of library science as “Library”.
