摘　　要：从全球走势的观点看,20世纪下半叶最具世界意义、最引人注目的事件,与其说是以苏联东欧剧变为标志的社会主义旧模式的失败,还不如说是具有中国特色社会主义经济新模式作为太平洋地区经济发展最快的国家而崛起。文章就中国社会主义经济崛起的表现、它对世界历史的影响、21世纪中国发展的前景做了透视与展望。From the viewpoint of the whole world, the event , which has world significance and which attracts more attention , is the rise of the new mode of socialism of China , rather than the failure of the old pattern of socialism symbolized by the radical changes of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe .This article is meant to look ahead and draw a perspective of manifestations of the rise of socialist market economy of China , its effects upon the world history and the prospects of the development of China in the 21st century.
