何首乌治疗血管性痴呆的疗效观察

摘　　要：目的　探讨何首乌对血管性痴呆 (VD)患者的治疗作用。方法　对 40例轻中度VD患者 ,简易智能量表 (MMSE)评分在 10～ 2 4分之间 ,进行为期 12周的何首乌治疗自身对照研究。疗效评价采用MMSE、日常生活能力量表 (ADL)、Blessed -Roth痴呆量表、临床疗效总评量表 (CGI)。在入组时及治疗结束后评定。结果　MMSE、ADL、Blessed -Roth和SI评分均有显著性改善 (P <0 0 5 ) ;GI和EI评分均大于 1。何首乌对生命体征及实验室指标无影响 ,未见不良反应。结论　何首乌可改善VD患者的认知功能、情感、人格及日常生活自理能力 ,安全性好。Objective To evaluate the effects of Polygonum Multiflorum Thumb on patients with vascular dementia.Methods 40 patients with mild to moderate vascular dementia,scored 10 to 24 on MMSE were enrolled;All patients took Polygonum Multiflorum Thumb for 12 weeks;Efficacy was assessed on basis of the scores of MMSE,Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),Blessed-Roth Scale and Clinical Global Impression (CGI),at the baseline and at the end of 12 weeks treatment.Results There was a significant difference between pre-and post-treatment in MMSE,ADL,Blessed-Roth and SI(P<0 05).The scores of GI and EI were 2.63±1.17 and 2.33±0.76,respectively at the end of 12-week treatment.Polygonum Multiflorum Thumb had no influence on vital signs and laboratory indexes.Conclusion Polygonum Muitiflorum Thumb might significantly improve the cognition and affection and ability of daily life in patients with VD.
