摘　　要：数据挖掘 (dateMining)技术是解决如何从实际应用中大量不完整的、模糊的、有噪声和随机的数据中提取 (挖掘 /发现 )事先不知道但又是有用的信息和知识的一种自动地将数据转换成知识的信息技术 ,基于数据挖掘技术的构成、对象与功能 ,以示例的方式说明公共组织在公共事物的治理中如何应用这一前沿的信息技术 .Data mining (knowledge discovery in databases) is an information technology applied to automatically mining or discovering knowledge from the data which are stored in databases or/and warehouse. Because the data are incomplete, noisy, ambiguous and at random, we can't discover the hidden knowledge or laws in the millions of databases and warehouse. Data Mining has already been wildly applied in business management, but public management has not attach much importance to it in China. In this paper, we try to introduce the technology to public managers and public management researchers through some good samples. We suggest that data mining also be used in public management as an advanced information technology.
