摘　　要：在分析了申奥成功我国旅游业面临的机遇和挑战及历届奥运给旅游业带来的经验借鉴基础上 ,重点阐述了桂林作为世界旅游名城如何把握奥旅结合 ,抓住机遇 ,促进桂林旅游经济的腾飞。An analysis of the opportunity and threats to Guilin tourism since China's application to hold the Olympic games was successful.Based on a study of some successful experiences of past Olympic games, the author investigated the poterial of Guilin, as an internationally famous tourism city,to further develop its tourism during the 2008 Olympic games, and boost its tourism income.
