摘 要:连接断开数据一致性问题是移动数据库系统研究中的关键难点之一,目前研究的乐观复制方法,要么会带来不可接受的同滚事务数量,要么对数据的安排和操作加以严格的限制,很难实际应用.文中针对移动环境连接不稳定和资源有限的特点,提出了一个基于Agent的移动事务模型AMTM.阐述了移动Agent技术用于移动环境下事务处理的优点,设计了一个基于Agent的三层移动事务处理的原型系统,并简要说明了该系统在实现上采取的关键技术.通过实验分析比较了基于Agent方法与乐观复制方法各自的优缺点和适用范围.Disconnection and consistency is one of the key problems in mobile database systems. The optimistic replication method under current research either incurs non-acceptable numbers of aborted transactions or imposes strict restrictions on placement and operation of data. These drawbacks make the optimistic replication method inapplicable. In this paper, an agent-based mobile transaction model (denoted by AMTM) is proposed. The AMTM model is suitable to the features of connection instability and resource scarcity in mobile computing environments. The benefits of mobile agents used in mobile transaction processing are discussed. A prototype system of agent-based three-tier mobile transaction processing is designed with the key technologies in the implementation depicted briefly. By experiments, the agent-based method is compared with the optimistic replication method, and their characteristics and suitable domains are discussed.
