摘　　要：文章试图探讨美国19世纪末、20世纪初发生的以资产阶级民主派联合其它各派发起的反对美国政府的帝国主义扩张政策及殖民战争的抗议运动。通过分析当时美国的历史背景和国际环境来阐明反帝运动各派的出现及其主张.由此,揭示这一政治运动复杂性的特点.This paper aims at trying to probe preliminarily into 'the Anti-imperialist Movement', i.e. there arose, at home, a resenting and protesting Crusade,in American history,launched by bourgeois-democrats,together with other factions or social strata, who resented and protested the imperialist expansion-policy and colonial war in Philippines.It,by means of analysis of the historical background in U.S.and international atmosphere at that time,expounds the origins,their view or position of all the factions and social strata in the 'anti-imperialist Movement'.Thereby,discovers the mixed feature of this political movement.
