摘　　要：货币市场健康发展是金融市场和国民经济稳定发展的前提之一 ,金融市场运行规则的完善又是货币市场发展的重要条件。我国选择先发展资本市场 ,后发展货币市场的路径 ,在一定程度上与国际潮流相悖 。Money market constitutes the prerequisite condition for both financial market and the smooth progress of the national economy, while improvement of financial market and market economy provides an important condition for the development of money market. China's approach of developing its money market with the capital market taking the lead is, to some extent, against the usual patterns of international practice. Thus, it takes an urgent necessity to rediscover the function and role of the money market.
