摘　　要：介绍了一种以TMS3206211为核心处理器的实时视频编码器,它采用ITU-T的H.263压缩标准,可以满足当前远程视频监控、会议电视等诸多视频/图像处理和传输领域的需求。同时,对编码器的硬件资源选择、系统工作流程、视频采集、软件开发等关键技术作了详细讨论。最后,分析了该编码器的实时性能和其它性能。A general-purpose real time image processing system using TMS320C6211as its key processor is introduced.It is in compliance with the compression standards H.263of ITU-T.The system can fulfill the de-mands in many video/image processing and transmitting fields such as the current remote monitoring and control,conference TV,etc.The key problems such as selection of hardware resource,working routine,video acquisition,software development,etc.are discussed in detail.The feasibility of the algorithm and the real time performance of the system are analyzed.[
