摘　　要：随着基于Internet的多媒体应用的不断增长,尽力而为的TCP/IP协议已经难以满足应用的需要。该文就如何能够获得更好的多媒体流的传输效果进行了研究。在对传统算法进行分析和参考有关算法的基础上,阐述了一种适用于多媒体流的拥塞控制算法,并将其应用于一个实际的系统中,取得了预期的效果。Multimedia application over the Internet is increasing rapidly in recent years.The TCP/IP protocol,which only provides best-effort service,cannot satisfy this application.In this paper,the research focuses on how to achieve the better delivery performance of the multimedia streaming.Based on the traditional algorithms and other related algorithms ,the authors address a congestion control algorithm,which is suitable for the multimedia streaming.The algorithm has been used and achieved good result.
