摘　　要：CORBA和XML是当今分布式计算中的两大主流技术 ,两者都具有平台和语言无关性、开放性、可扩展性。CORBA解决了异构环境下系统的互操作性 ,XML解决了不同平台之间数据表示和关联的同一 ;因此 ,将CORBA和XML结合必将会促进分布式计算技术的新发展。对两者可能的结合点做了总的描述 。CORBA and XML are two prevalent technologies in distributed systems. Both of them are platform and language-independent, open and extensible. CORBA achieves the interoperability between heterogeneous systems while XML achieves the identity in representing and manipulating data in various platforms. Integrating these two complementary technologies will prompt the development of distributed computing. This paper prospected possible integration of CORBA and XML and then introduced a model combining CORBA and Web based on XML.
